He took a lot of us under his

He took a lot of us under his wing over the years, myself and Jeremey and others....

He was the lone independent Lambo shop here in Texas when there WAS no dealer network....

A huge loss of knowledge as well as a pretty large character! I have missed him since his shop's closing......

Rest in Peace, man......we'll be there, by and by......

John was a great man and will

John was a great man and will be missed by many. He enjoyed helping others that had a passion for the exotics and would often help them for free if they were true enthusiasts. To answer your question Bob, John's family consisted of only a hand full of very close friends. I was fortunate to be one of them and enjoyed every minute that I knew him. Although my relationship with John was brief (4 years) he gave me a lifetime of knowledge about Ferraris and life lessons. As I have matured over the years I have grown to understand exactly what he was teaching me all this time.

This is a very difficult time for us, and I only ask that John, and his "family", be kept in your prayers.

John never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him, or mourn his passing. He wanted everyone to celebrate his life by "giving someone a hand up in life, and not a boot down".

I have though about setting up a memorial scholarship in John's name, or something to that effect. If anyone wants to help in that quest you can PM me to discuss.

For those willing and able to attend, I will post the service information soon. There are many loose ends to tie up and I will try to be as prompt as I can.

Take care,

JL
