There is a 308 guy having pro

There is a 308 guy having problems finding a windshield that fits his car correctly, after several failed attempts in finding a good fitting WS, the local dealer tells him, sure bring it in, 2 months MAX......he calls to check up on the progress after a month...not only have they not started, they now inform this poor guy that it will now be at least a year before FNA has the right windshields in stock.

OUCH !!!!

I've got one on order from Ferrari of Atlanta. Should be here this week. Hope it fits! Ferrari UK also is advertising OEM windshields for 308s in Hemmings for $800+ which includes shipping to USA.

JRV, Kelly and myself are having the same problem in New Orleans his is a '80 308 mine is a 84 308 the glass sits too high on the bottom pass. corner

Have you & Kelly contacted Ferrari of Atlanta and/or Ferrari UK to see where they are getting their windshields and whether or not they have had problems? Perhaps one or both can help you guys out.

The repro windshields left large gaps at the body. My take is they were molded or cured wrong.

it looks like mine wasn't

it looks like mine wasn't as bad as Kelly's. On his you could fit a entire windshield under the gap at the pass. bottom corner mine was about an 1/8inch on the driver bottom corner. I told them to go ahead and set mine after inspecting it I'll let ev everyone know how it works out, by the way mine is marked Saint Gobain

We are currently out of stock of Windshields for the 308 but we should be recieving new stock in approx 1 month. If anyone is interested in one drop me an email and I can put it on back order for you and then let you know when they come in. Also if there are more than one of you in the same area that need windshields you can save a lot of money on shipping by combining your orders...

Front one has been replaced, marked SIGLA.

78 308 GTS just got new Sigla

78 308 GTS just got new Sigla windshield from Ferrari of Atlanta. Took about 10 days to ship. The glass shop said it fit pretty well with just a little "build up" required in both bottom corners. Installed it looks great and no "highness" is evident in the corners. Rear window is S.Gobain.

Why can't S. Gobain provide replacement for all parts? Who is Sigla?
If repro windshield do not fit, can't they remanufacture the mold for the next batch to fit?

Sigla is a German company and

Sigla is a German company and they are the OEM windshield provider for DeTomaso, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW......My new 308 Sigla windshield has a small Ferrari logo above the Sigla info.
