Arthur C. O’Brien & Company and Scuderia South Florida cordially request your attendance at Picnic & Polo taking place at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington on Sunday March 5, 2006 beginning at 1:00PM.
This unique, free of charge event will allow access of the exotic cars into a special paddock next to the polo field where we will enjoy a catered luncheon on the most carefully manicured polo field in the world courtesy of our generous event sponsor and host Arthur C. O’Brien & Company.
Guests will enjoy panoramic views of the polo game action from a field side pavilion with box seats. During halftime, we will do the traditional “Champagne Divot Stomp”, the exotics will parade around the field as nearly 5000 spectators in the grandstand will vote for their favorite car and a “People’s Choice” trophy will be awarded to the winner at the end of the game. Fans will convene at The Winner’s Circle to congratulate the players during the awards presentation.
Gates of the International Polo Club Palm Beach open at 1:00PM. Our guests will be guided to the field side paddock by club staff and the action packed 90 minute polo game will begin at 3:00PM.
The specially prepared catered luncheon menu will include Traditional Caesar Salad with crisp romaine leaves, garlic croutons and shaved parmesan. The main course will feature Pesto Crusted Chicken Breast with Grilled Portobello Marsala Wine Demi-Glaze, Grilled Zucchini and Roasted Potatoes with freshly baked breads and rolls. Desert will include Tiramisu and Espresso Sabayon. Freshly brewed regular and decaffeinated coffee, herbal teas, soda and water will also be available during the polo game.
