I dumped the Ferrari on Friday for a RX-8.

I finally got tired of all the stupid problems that it had.

So long all, Happy motoring!

A new TR customer came by the other day in his new RX 8...wild looking design, very sporty interior and with 250 ponies I'm sure it hauls butt. His was Yellow/Black to match his TR...have to admit it was pretty cool looking .

Have Fun....

Didn't mazda just come out and say that the RX-8 doesn't have the horespower that they claim? It's like 30 hp lower.

I don't think it was as much as 30hp, but it was enough that they were offering their customers buy-back options...

As a BB owner, and a past 94 twin-turbo RX-7 owner, each car has its place. The RX-7 was an absolute blast to drive, albeit a service nightmare, as very few were sold in this part of the Country. I like the feel of the rotary engine, but can't get too excited about the RX-8 look...

I have had a 93 and a 95 RX-7.

I have had a 93 and a 95 RX-7. The 93 was always broken while the 95 never broke and both were fast. I'm certain that the RX-7's would beat the current Corvette I drive. I too can't get excited about the looks of the RX-8 but have heard that another RX-7 may be available in 2005.
