·I had a problem with my driver
I had a problem with my drivers side window not going all the way to the top. I wrote this problem up and sent it to a ferrari technician. His response was that he didn't think that a grease job on the tracks would solve the problem of the side glass. He said we need $200 to R&I the door panel and any necessary part to get to the lifters and grease as necessary. If we find that we need to change the complete motor lifting we need to spend $600 in labor and $640 in parts on a glass lift if that is the case.
Well, I was pretty shocked by his response so I decided to try and spray the tracks with silicone spray. With the window up I put the extension tube on the can to the extreme right of the inside glass and sprayed it till it dripped out from the bottom of the door. Did the same to the extreme left side of the inside window, and then proceeded to do the same to the outside of the glass. Magic! I pushed the window button and the window went all the way down and now I pushed the button and the window went all the way up! Did this a few times, the window performs great and is even faster! What the hell, as preventive maintenance did the same to the passenger side also. Thank God for SILICONE SPRAY!
