In some F1 races these ads are banned. While watching the Indy F1 race, I saw that Ferrari's Marlboro logos where whited out, on both cars and drivers.

However, the Bar Honda cars, as well as Sato (at the podium) clearly sported the "Lucky Strike" logos. Aren't these cigarettes?

I think Marlboro still sponsor

I think Marlboro still sponsors Penske racing in the IRL. They can't be sponsors in two racing series in the USA, so Ferrari had to remove the logos from the cars.

Lucky Strike, on the other hand, doesn't sponsor a team in the USA.

Apparently Penske used up all

Apparently Penske used up all of Marlboro's allowed tobacco sponsorship in the US and Ferrari was forced to run without the logos
