Hello,
I heard you can not adjust the clutch on TR's, only the foot pedal?? Mine lets way out, but still shifts fine, I guess my next step will be a new one..??

Hey man!
I'm thinking it will probably make the car easier to drive if you adjust the pedal 'closer' to the floor if that is possible.

I would try that before looking at a clutch change.

Sorry, meant to answer this much sooner.

There is no adjustment "per se" on the TR clutches. The pedal adjust is for differences in the hydraulic travel in the system and is not really "a clutch adjust". Now, if you have the early Boxer type double disc clutch still in your car, then there is an adjustment to "the clutch". There are small spacers between the intermediate plate and the FW & PP. IF the discs are not to worn & overheated, by taking the clutch apart and removing the shims the clutch life itself can be extended. Once the shims are removed it might be neccesary to tighten up a little on the pedal adjustment to increase hydraulic travel for full disengagement.

Once again thanks for the info

Once again thanks for the info JRV, not sure if I have the older style clutch, but I will look into that..
