I know this is trivial, and many may think of this post as a waste of valuable f-talk space. Recently I screwed up one of my TR's dist. caps, more specifically I mutilated one of the lance-screws, while trying to remove it, that capture the spark plug wires and make the connection. So I ordered a new cap from one of the sponsors here on f-talk, import auto parts. Anyhoo....I was looking at saving the old cap, since I had nothing to loose in trying. I just wanna report that I carefully drilled out the center of the screw, and used an extractor to remove it. Amazingly it came out in one piece! Much easier than I expected. Again...I know this is trivial for most, but since TR caps are quite expensive I still wanted to let interested people know.
