Have just finished a brief ove

Have just finished a brief overview of Ferrari aftermarket exhausts in the aftermarket parts section:

http://www.ferrari-talk.com/discus/messages/3049/3082.html?1076856178

Looked at Tubi, Stebro, Ansa, Larini, Quicksilver, and mentioned Capristo, Millemiglia and CSC. I'm sure I missed a couple.

If you have any experience with particlar aftermarket exhausts, positive or negative, please feel free to ad a quick reply to the thread to add your recommendations.

best

Russ didn't get to much fr

Russ didn't get to much from the post. I would suggest that you hear each type to draw your own conclusion. A better idea would be for you to record these sounds and put them on the site. That way we could all judge for ourselves. I have an Ansa system on my 77 and to me it sounds what an Fcar should sound like. I've hears both a Stebro and Tubi last summer at Limerock park and the Stebro was a little flat while the Tubi was to loud for me. You need to be able to describe the sound so that we get meaning from the words. my 2c

Steve,

comparisons are alwa

Steve,

comparisons are always subjective.

I liked the way Russ sarted out that section. Its up to the individual to do their own research from there.

For example, TUBI was rude & arrogant on the phone with me about 5-6 yrs ago, so I don't buy from them. The beauty of that was I found Larini
. Point is, no one person can cover every nuiance of a product or company. We all have to chip in and help.

Well Tubi did send a product b

Well Tubi did send a product brochure to me via mail that had the President of the US division's card attached. Damn shame he wasn't the one to answer the phone for a sale, eh JRV??

That said I use an Ansa on mine, and the valets downtown say it's too loud, but all the pedestrians seem to like it. I've been told by business acquaintances that they can hear me entering downtown Houston, past their office!

I say that's JUST RIGHT.
