After much reflection I've

After much reflection I've decide to "upgrade" to a 86/87 328 from my current 82 308 GTSi. Found a Euro car and am concerned as to the ramifications of resale of the Euro v the US. Anyone have experience or suggestions??

although Euro Cars are Identical (what Italian car isn't Euro?????
) .....the Euro versions bring significantly less at time of sale!

It wouldn't bother me if I planned on keeping the car for many years!!

It should make any difference, you are paying a discounted "Euro" price right? So you should not take a hit. If you are paying full retail, same as a USA car, then negotiate!! ;)

I thank everyone for their input. I never fail to learn something new. This deal most likely will not happen with me - too much for a 86 328 Euro, 24,000 miles, major service done, $49,500.00.

The $49K seems out of line for

The $49K seems out of line for a Euro version. I would think something like $38K - $42K would be more realistic.
